Ferran Torres doubled Barcelona’s lead against Mallorca with a goal that came amidst some controversy in La Liga 2025-26 match on Saturday.

A shot from Lamine Yamal struck the head of a Mallorca player, who fell to the ground inside the penalty. Torres retrieved the loose ball and calmly slotted it into the net, securing Barcelona’s second goal of the match.
However, it was not clear whether the referee had blow the whistle for the safety of the player who had a head injury.
Later, the referee gave the goal to the away side prompting confusion and anger among the home fans and the Mallorca players.
Mallorca midfielder Manu Morlanes was shown a yellow card for his constant protest.
